NorCal Chapter

NorCal Chapter

In 2025, We Give LA is set to launch an exciting new Northern California Chapter. We Give NorCal will focus on foster youth ages 18-25 in the Yuba, Sutter, Napa and Sacramento counties.

Coming Home to Give Back

WeGive NorCal Chapter is led by Richard and Gina Alexander, passionate advocates for FosterPreneur Programs, addressing a crucial gap in the foster care system.

Richard, a Yuba City native and Sacramento musician, was a contributing composer for television shows such as Law and Order NYPD Blue in Hollywood in the 90s. Gina, a renowned handbag designer since 1999, has built a successful career in the fashion industry. Together, they have devoted their lives to supporting foster youth and adoption initiatives.

As adoptive parents to their two beautiful daughters, Katelyn and Makena Alexander, Richard and Gina deeply understand the importance of providing opportunity, mentorship, and stability for foster youth. In 2020, they founded WeGiveLA, and WeGive NorCal became an official chapter, both established as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, dedicated to empowering foster youth with entrepreneurial skills, mentorship, and career-building opportunities.

Their mission is to equip, uplift, and empower foster youth to break cycles of instability by providing access to training, business education, and real-world experience.
